Meet Your Dental Team

As a patient of Fuqua Advanced Dental, you will feel welcome and at home the moment you walk in the door. Drs. Steven and Tonya Fuqua combine their unique talents to deliver comprehensive dental services tailored to each individual patient's needs, and each member of their dental team is dedicated to providing you with the highest standard of treatment in a warm and caring environment.

Dr. Steven J. Fuqua

Dr. Steven Fuqua received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio in 1995, and then went on to complete a three year prosthodontic residency program, graduating in 1998 with a Masters of Science (MS).

In addition to being a sought after lecturer in the field of advanced prosthodontic techniques, Dr. Steven Fuqua is a member of the American College of Prosthodontists, Academy of Osseointegration, American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, Fort Worth District Dental Society, International Academy of Gnathology, and Southwest Academy of Restorative Dentistry.

Dr. Steven Fuqua is involved in Southlake Kiwanis Club and often provides volunteer dental services for children and adults in need.

Dr. Tonya K. Fuqua

Dr. Tonya Fuqua also received a DDS degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, and continues to hone her skills through postgraduate study. She holds professional membership in the American College of Dentists, Children’s Oral Health Coalition of Tarrant County, American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, and Fort Worth District Dental Society.

Along with a passion for serving her patients, Dr. Tonya Fuqua dedicates a great deal of her time to serving the community. As a former member of the U.S. Air Force, she served as an active duty dental officer at Kelly Air Force Base in San Antonio and is currently involved in the Kiwanis Club of Southlake and many other local organizations.

Dr. Fuqua's most significant accomplishment, however, may be the founding and managing of Save a Smile, a non-profit dental program that serves low income children in our community. Led by Cook Children’s Medical Center, Save a Smile provides thousands of dollars of need-based services each year for children who might otherwise go without dental care. Dr. Fuqua works to enlists volunteer dentists and coordinates with Communities In Schools to deliver a truly unparalleled dental outreach program that has so far touched the lives of over 36 thousand young people throughout Tarrant County.

Drs. Steven and Tonya Fuqua reside in Keller and have two young daughters.
