Steven and Tonya Fuqua combine their unique talents to deliver comprehensive dental services tailored to each individual patient's needs, and each member of their dental team is dedicated to providing you with the highest standard of treatment in a warm and caring environment.
Dr. Steven J. Fuqua Prosthodontist
Dr. Steven Fuqua received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio in 1995, and then went on to complete a three year prosthodontic residency program, graduating in 1998 with a Masters of Science (MS).
Dr. Steve is a proud former student of Texas A&M University (TAMU) and is currently serving on the Board of Biomedical Sciences at TAMU. In addition to being a sought after lecturer in the field of advanced prosthodontic techniques, Dr. Steven Fuqua is a member of the American College of Prosthodontists, Academy of Osseointegration, American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, Fort Worth District Dental Society, International Academy of Gnathology, and Southwest Academy of Restorative Dentistry.
Dr. Steve is involved in the community and often provides volunteer dental services for children and adults in need.
Dr. Tonya K. Fuqua Dentist
Dr. Tonya Fuqua also received a DDS degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, and continues to hone her skills through postgraduate study. She holds professional membership in the American College of Dentists, Children’s Oral Health Coalition of Tarrant County, American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, and Fort Worth District Dental Society. She is a former member of the U.S. Air Force, where she served as an active duty dental officer at Kelly Air Force Base in San Antonio.
In addition to passion for serving her patients, Dr. Tonya Fuqua dedicates a great deal of her time to serving the community. Her most significant accomplishment may be the founding and managing of Save a Smile, a non-profit dental program that serves low income children in our community. Led by Cook Children’s Medical Center, Save a Smile provides thousands of dollars of need-based services each year for children who might otherwise go without dental care. Dr. Fuqua works to enlists volunteer dentists and coordinates with Communities In Schools to deliver a truly unparalleled dental outreach program that has so far touched the lives of over 36 thousand young people throughout Tarrant County.
Dr. Steve and Dr. Tonya reside in Keller and have two young daughters.
Angie Business Specialist
Angie resides in Keller and has twenty-plus years of accounting experience. In addition to supporting the business end of the Fuqua Advanced Dental practice, she especially loves establishing relationships with each and every patient. Married more than 30 years, she enjoys traveling and spending time with family and friends. Angie joined the Fuqua Advanced Dental team in 2023.
Courtney Business Specialist
Courtney graduated from the University of North Texas (UNT) with a degree in Integrative Studies including field of studies in psychology, education, and business. She moved to the DFW area in 2007 from Amarillo and began her career in the dental field in 2019. Courtney is typically the friendly voice you hear when you call the office, or the face you see when you come into the practice. She is passionate about photography, loves listening to live music, and enjoys playing with her three dogs. Courtney joined the Fuqua Advanced Dental Team in 2024.
Sandra Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH)
Sandra earned her degree in dental hygiene in 2007 from Lamar Institute of Technology in Beaumont. She strives to give each patient the healthy smile they deserve and is instrumental in helping patients identify how oral health can impact their overall health. Sandra is married with two young daughters. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing softball, attending sporting events and working out. Sandra joined the Fuqua Advanced Dental team in 2020.
Amanda Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH)
Amanda holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene from Texas Women's University (RDH). She is passionate about oral health and always strives to educate and improve the lives of her patients or people in the community through their smiles. Amanda is married and has a beautiful set of twins (daughter and son), who keep her busy and are her pride and joy. In her spare time, you will find Amanda at the football, softball or track fields following her teenager’s sporting events. Amanda joined the Fuqua Advanced Dental team in 2005.
Elizabeth Lead, Registered Dental Assistant (RDA)
Elizabeth attended Tarrant County Community College and Texas Women’s University to study nursing, but soon realized she had a passion for dentistry. She loves interacting with patients while assisting chairside and keeping the flow going in our onsite dental laboratory. She is also a whiz with technology and helps keep the practice up-to-date and running smoothly. Elizabeth is married and a proud dog momma to a mastiff lab and a spunky boxer. She enjoys camping and spending time with family and friends. Elizabeth joined the Fuqua Advanced Dental team in 2019.
Johana Registered Dental Assistant (RDA)
Johana came to our office with aspirations of a career in dentistry and worked hard to become a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA). She is excited to provide the best possible care for patients and continues to strengthen her knowledge in healthcare. Johana is bilingual, nurturing and always eager to help patients feel comfortable when they are in the office. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family, working out and practicing her craft doing hair and makeup. Johana joined the Fuqua Advanced Dental team in 2022.
Zorica Registered Dental Assistant (RDA)
Zorica completed the intra-oral dental assistant program from CDI College in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. She was born in Croatia and moved to Canada, before settling in Texas in 2016. She is married and has three beautiful young children (one boy and a set of twin girls). She enjoys traveling and trying new things. Zorica joined the Fuqua Advanced Dental team in 2017.
